The upcoming Warner Bros. film, “A Star Is Born”, is already gaining rave reviews from critics who have caught the film at the recent Toronto International Film Festival. We absolutely can’t wait for a chance to check it out!
“A Star is Born” stars four-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper and multiple award-winning, Oscar-nominated music
superstar Lady Gaga, in her first leading role in a major motion picture. Cooper helms the drama,
marking his directorial debut.
In this new take on the tragic love story, he plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who
discovers—and falls in love with—struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her
dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career
takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with
his own internal demons.

One of the most insightful commentaries on Sacha Guitry’s La Poison can be found right there on the cover of Criterion’s beautiful new blu ray release, a typically “warts and all” portrait by Drew Freidman of the film’s stars, Michel Simon and Germaine Reuver. The film’s diabolic mix of humor and horror is illuminated by Freidman’s precise rendering of Simon’s sagging jowls, Reuver’s venomous stare and the dingy trappings of the cramped little kitchen that threatens to suffocate these damned souls before they can get around to killing each other.

I think How I Met Your Mother fans are all going through a similar thing right now. When the newest episode teased Ted would meet the titular “Mother” in a mere 45 days – in story time – my mind exploded. Are we really going to be meeting her? Is this another fake out? Those 45 days would roughly put the meeting – I’m very carefully avoiding the word “revealing” – around the time of the Season 8 finale. So from now until then, any casting news involving a woman for that finale will immediately be under suspicion of playing the ever-elusive Mother. And thus we shall now scrutinize the casting of Happy Ending’s Casey Wilson.
You might be inclined to think Wilson couldn’t possibly be playing the mother because she was cast alongside Keegan-Michael Key of sketch comedy series Key and Peele. As reported by Vulture, they play a couple having dinner at...

I think it's safe to say the entire world gasped in horror as Deb witnessed her brother Dexter plunge a knife into Travis Marshall's body in last season's finale. And after months of torture in anticipation for the show's return, we're Finally going to see the aftermath of that moment.
Will Deb turn him in? Will she help him cover it up? What Will Happen?!? Well, after watching the first few episodes, I'm completely convinced this will be the best season of Dexter yet. And while I'm sworn to secrecy, here are are 5 mini-spoilers to hold you over until Sunday night:
1. Dexter buys a plane ticket out of the country. Is he running? That I can't say.
2. Deb finds something in Dexter's apartment. I'll give you three guesses as to what it is, but you'll only need one.
3. A few major cases from past seasons resurface and fingers may start pointing in Dexter's direction.
