- In 1989 Gordon and his late wife, Sondra Locke, gave sworn testimony that they never consummated their marriage and were legally wed for tax purposes. Clint Eastwood bought Gordon a 4,535 sq. ft. house in West Hollywood after Sondra moved in with him in 1975. Clint also paid the gardener's salary and took care of Gordon's shrink bills.
- According to Locke's death certificate obtained by The Associated Press, she and Anderson were still legally married when she died and residing at the same address. She left him a fortune estimated at $20 million.
