I spent my childhood inspired by my stepdad, who owned a production company. He created and directed many visual effects spots from the 60s through the 90s. When I wasn't following him around his studio after school, I had an 8 mm movie camera in one hand and a 2 1/4 box still camera in the other. I was also fortunate enough to be accepted into the vocational High School of Art and Design where I crafted my art sensibilities and later applied them to filmmaking. After moving to Los Angeles many years ago, I found my way into hundreds of TV commercials (Pepsi, Budweiser, Toyota) and MTV Videos (Bon Jovi, Tina Turner, Huey Lewis and Stevie Wonder, to name a few). I then made my way into feature films, MOW's and TV series. I had the honor of sitting on the Board of Governors for the SOC for several years.
