Since the title and central theme of this movie "Just Desserts" is desserts, particularly chocolate, it's interesting to note that the main chef character said he added water to his chocolate concoction, a box to hold an engagement ring he was asked to make. When the other main chef character, his love interest, tastes the chocolate, she is so impressed with how it tastes, she faints. Anyone who has ever melted chocolate knows that allowing even the smallest hint of water to melted chocolate will cause it to "seize" and become irreparably grainy. The resulting confection has a mouth feel of mud.
Lauren Holly, Costas Mandylor and David Proval are all alumni of "Picket Fences". Holly and Mandylor were regulars while Proval had a recurring role in three episodes.
