Persuasion (2022)
It was a romantic 2022 version
All those negative comments from the bookreaders and " pride and predjuce" fans ... P & P set a tone about how Jane's books should be turned into a movie. So unfortunately, not everyone is allowed to look at it with a clear view and to let themselves be carried away in the story
It was a lovely & romantic movie of an old story in a modern interpretation, Dakota was beautiful... very charming.
If you can let go of the book and let the film run its course then you will be moved by the fragility of the story.
For me a 7.5... but I'll give an 8 because it definitely deserves more than a 1, 2 or a 3.
Cordon (2014)
Nerve-wracking
A very exciting series Season 1 just a bit better than the 2nd.
It almost looks like a prediction of the future, except for some small dots, made very lifelike.
The End of the F***ing World (2017)
Intruiging dialogues & acting
I loved season 2 even more than 1, That's never happened to me before with a series. So much feeling they put down without using words.
The female lead, their dialogues, interplay, non-verbal acting and the story... everything is intruiging. Short episodes so you can binge watch!
Clan (2012)
Hilarious
The roles and acting are sublime
You automatically speculate.
The role of brother in law makes your hands itch 😀...
Realy entertaining and hilarious
Loved it!
Red Light (2020)
Good acting & suspense
At times predictable but I thought it was thrilling. 3 different female characters, well played. They keep you wondering what's going trough their mind. Maaike played her role as a "almost emotion numed" cop well, but loved those dutch Girls role even more.
Cheyenne & Lola (2020)
Great acting, great scene
If you don't like it, you're missing somthing...
the ability to empathize with scene probably. The total package acting, the scene, story, humor ... it's there. Love both main characters.
The King (2019)
Thimothée a True King
What a great performance from this young actor. Not only good looking on the screen but everything he plays, you"ll believe it... such a different role from what I have seen before but always something vulnerable in his personage.
The story, the scene and acting, I liked it a lot.
Beautiful Boy (2018)
Beautiful film!
Steve really surprises me in this movie... he moved me, I felt it. And Timotheé ... he played it so real. He s got a true talent. Their dynamic... it hurts. Something kids should see but probably don t feel like I feel it... man I cried. Good job Felix., just beautiful! It should have won an oscar.
Sex/Life (2021)
Don't be so narrow minded
It's about what women miss (unlike in the series) usually around age 40... and what men are insecure about and scared to face.
Ok, I her husbands reaction was at some parts really disgusting... but let s not waste time about what s good or bad in a relationship and how the show represent that, don't kill that spirit... it just was a good show.
