This is a delightful and sad movie about a young boy who is left to fend for himself in many ways after his mother dies. Though the family tries to help, no one will let him keep his dog- his best companion. The scenery is beautiful and the supporting cast quite good- especially the girl Sabra and the woman at the glass factory.
