Kyra Sedgewick is truly wretched in this. I don't know about the kid being kidnapped but Child Protective Services should have taken it away for Mum being a drugged out, neglectful, self-centred cow.
All the acting is pretty dreadful, the script terrible and the whole story implausible. Another piece of rubbish to avoid.
